Brooke’s passion is supporting personal resilience in concert with action empowerment to holistically address the climate crisis.
As a state and national director for 20 years, she worked to build diverse coalitions, empower activists and lead adoption of nationally precedent-setting environment and public health legislation, regulation and incentive-based programs in the United States.
Brooke focuses now on the internal conditions supporting transformative climate and social change. Guiding universities and others in sustainability efforts, she incorporates Theory U: Awareness-based Systems Change tools – an MIT framework for learning, leading and innovating. A co-creator, she also facilitates the Harvard Climate Action Training, and collaborates internationally on tools for informed public action with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
She has received NGO, city and state awards, and had fun becoming a Guinness Book of World Records record holder with her godson.
